Summary: I've already been to 3 hiking events organized by Amazing Ukraine (2 events in 2019 & 1 event in 2020). I loved all of them thanks to the friendly participants & warm atmosphere. I saw lots of beautiful landscapes & visited the places that I had never visited before (although I was born and bred in Kyiv). The thing is ... you aren't likely to find a beautiful lake somewhere in the forest or an old church outside the city if you travel on your own. But the guide showed us these amazing places located in the middle of nowhere. I absolutely loved the slow pace, i.e. I could enjoy nature & communication with new people while walking. We were not in a hurry, it was rather relaxing. We even had a picnic! You don't need to be well-prepared physically for this hiking as all the hiking trails around Kyiv are rather flat. And I loved the mixture of locals and foreigners. I got acquainted with amazing people from China, the USA, Germany. These hiking tours are definitely for those, who prefer nature & communication to long excursions & museums. And it's a great opportunity for travellers to get acquainted with Ukrainian people.

Summary: Myself yogesh and my native is India. This is my first hiking experience in Ukraine, The hiking group is of 8 people including tour guide Iryna and Sergi. I don't speak Ukrainian nor Russian so Iryna and Sergi were able explain the places in English. On this hiking tour I walked 6-7 hours through forest, clean lake to swim, monastery, park etc We met around 10:20 am and finished 6:00 pm. Overall I enjoyed the moment and would visit back another time. PS Iryna and sergi was very friendly and fun to be with :)

Summary: I'll write briefly, but from the heart. I really enjoyed the hike: great company, interesting route, beautiful views: the forest, the lake - all these make unforgettable experiences and only positive emotions. I've learned a lot of interesting and new things. Now I know there's a "Carpathians" in the vicinity of my hometown with a canyon, forests and mountains. I thank the organizers of the event for a beautiful day, for the information and am very happy to meet you again)))) Now I am with you!))))

Summary: Thank you so much for this hike! It's a wonderful outdoors experience plus great physical activity and, most importantly, a reset for the brain! Very much liked the route, delightful and varied landscapes: pine forest, oak grove, lake, mountain, canyon and even Kiev Carpathians :)... I was a little worried about the fact that I wasn't very well physically prepared and if I could handle the hike, but the guide met me and we weren't going as fast as usual and I managed :). Also on the camping trip were some very nice people with whom we know each other, I believe that it was no accident, we had a very soulful time, and I hope we will continue to be friends! In general, what to say, delightful nature, physical activity, beautiful guide, pleasant company - what other rest does a person need for happiness?! :)

Summary: We spent a wonderful day hiking near Kiew, walking through silent forests and flowerful fields. Our guide sasha showed us amazing views on the banks of river dnepr and towards Kiev. Visiting a monastery (and its outstanding natural caves) was a highlight, - second highlight was a wonderful (bring yourself) picknick. Transportation with public busses was well organized, all tickets were included. Special thanks to Iryna for organizing everything and for joining us on the tour! Next time we come to Ukraine we‘ll do a tour again! :-)

Summary: I met Sacha at the appointed spot but as there was just me he got his wife Tanya to come as she spoke a little English. While I missed out on the historical context They are a lovely couple and it was an interesting walk which included a local bus ride, a lake and forest and a visit to a monastery with catacombs. Later it started raining and we headed into Kiev for a wine.
